(These instructions apply to TD Ameritrade Accounts only, for accounts held outside of TD Ameritrade, please contact us for instructions.) 

  • Checks Payable to: “TD Ameritrade Clearing Inc.” – Applies to BOTH retirement (IRA’s, etc.) AND non-retirement (trusts, etc.) accounts. 
  • Check Memo line: Put account number and any notes, abbreviations OK.  For Example: “# 23456789 – 2020 – IRA Contrib” or “# 123456789 – Trust”. If you do not wish to put your account number on the memo line, or are unsure of what to write, you may send us the check and we will research and confirm the appropriate account for deposit. 
  • PLEASE NOTE: If you have existing banking/ACH instructions setup on your retirement and/or non-retirement account(s), we may process a deposit for you without you needing to send in a check- we would just need to confirm the amount and bank. If you do not have banking instructions setup on your account(s) this may be done via DocuSign (E-Signature).
