Hello, everybody, welcome to Tuesday, the S&P 500 was up almost point 2%. Today, started off the day down, and then recovered and got into nice positive territory. We had reports of earnings from Walmart from Home Depot, they both did really well, both jumped a lot, it actually brought up the whole retail sector target, for example, is up over 5% Today, even though they’re not reporting their earnings till tomorrow. So obviously, there’s some expectations that we’re seeing some good things from consumer behavior, and that’s driving those stocks, as far as that goes. But then we had an interesting thing happened today, the S&P 500 get to 40 to 35, which is one point away from crossing over the 200 day moving average that it has, that’s a very significant thing. The market really looks at that oftentimes, when it does crossover, you see a pretty big run up. But as soon as we got close, it dropped back down pretty rapidly. And most likely, what you have is a bunch of people that are shorting the market right at the 200 day moving average. And when you short, you’re borrowing the stock and selling it, hoping to buy it at some point, you know, at a lower point at some point in time.
I do think it’ll be a little bit difficult for us to just break right through the 200 day moving average, just because we’re so stretched out, we’ve really moved a long ways in a short period of time. And so maybe we spend some time kind of bumping around before we do break through if we are going to that wouldn’t be a bad thing at all actually, to kind of create a little bit of stability and a base in this run. If you’re going to try to go higher, you can only stretch so far Usually, before things do start to settle down. So altogether a really good day actually starting off low coming back into positive territory, surviving that 200 day moving average drop and kind of jumping back up again. So a lot of interest on the upside by people trying to get in maybe some fear of missing out. Mark has been moving quite well. We’re you know doing critic pretty well. So let’s see what’s happens tomorrow. Look forward to talking to you then. Thank you
