Hello, everyone, Welcome to Monday, I hope you had a great holiday weekend, the market is doing spectacular today, as evidenced by the green shirt. The S&P 500 was up almost 1.6% today, which is fantastic. That’s five days in a row now that we’ve had an upward moving market. And there seems to be some similar situations to last week, where the expectations are just a lot lower than the reporting that’s coming out. And even though some of the reporting is still pretty poor, it’s better than what was expected and the markets moving up on that. And so that’s one of the big stories. But one of the big things that happened today was the S&P 500 actually jumped above the second little range that we established.
So remember, we spent about six weeks in one range, that became fantastic support in that second range that we hit, we was hitting the top of that quite often and bouncing up, and it held. And now we’re above the second rate. So we now have two different price points to support us if things start to go down. I’ve mentioned before in times of great stress or panic, those support levels really aren’t that useful. But in a normal market, which is actually what we’re kind of in right now. You’ll see those support levels work out quite well. And so I’m quite happy to be above that right now.
I’ve made a bunch of changes over the weekend to the portfolios, and you’re going to see transactions coming through that we did today. I’m really just trying to refine everything and continue to move, we’ve been outperforming the market on a pretty regular basis. And I want to keep going with that. I only made those changes to the IRA type accounts because of the capital gains that are inside of these non IRA accounts. We’ll be a lot more selective with those a lot more careful. And and we don’t have commissions any longer with TD Ameritrade. So it makes it easier to make some of these changes and really get things going in the right direction. So watch for that. And I will look forward to talk to you tomorrow and see what happens. Thank you.
